Your Teacher

Hello, I'm Fanny.

I first came to yoga in 2014. For years, it moved in and out of my life, until I truly connected with the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice in 2022. Since then, it has become a steady anchor and a path I continue to explore with curiosity and dedication.

What draws me most is the depth of the practice, both as a lifelong student and as a teacher. I love sharing what I learn and experience with those who feel called to it, in a way that is grounded, honest, and human.

My path has been shaped by multiple teacher trainings, intensives, and retreats with teachers such as Sudhir Tiwari, Scott Johnson, Petri Räisänen, Ty Landrum, David Robson & Jelena Vesic, Marilou van Hoek.

For me, balance lives in the integration of asana, pranayama and meditation - a practice that extends beyond the mat and gently weaves into everyday life.

I teach the way I practice: with honesty, warmth and deep respect for each person's path - creating space to explore the practice for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike.

Where

A stone house in the Belgian Ardennes.

The retreat is held at L'Attrape-Coeurs, an authentic gîte in Wéris, one of the officially designated "most beautiful villages of Wallonia", just outside Durbuy (Belgium).

Wéris sits in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, surrounded by ancient megalithic stones, river valleys, and dense forest trails. For those who find restoration in nature: hiking and cycling paths start at the doorstep, the Ourthe river is minutes away, and Durbuy, Europe's smallest city, offers charming cobblestone streets to wander between sessions.

The venue has a dedicated yoga room (including mats, straps, meditation cushions), open fire, sauna, jacuzzi bath and a large garden. Wood interiors, stone walls and the forest a short walk away make this place magical.

Common questions

Good to know.

I'm a beginner. Can I come?

Absolutely. The retreat is designed to welcome every kind of practitioner - from people stepping onto the mat for the first time to seasoned practitioners. Fanny adapts adjustments and variations to each person.

What style of yoga will we practice?

Ashtanga Vinyasa. You don't need to know the sequence in advance. Mornings include meditation, pranayama and Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. Afternoons include workshops on alignment or specific postures, depending on what the group needs.

I have an injury or a limitation - is this for me?

Yes. Please mention it when you book, and Fanny will be in touch beforehand to discuss adaptations. The small group size means there's room to work with individual needs.

I'm coming on my own. Will I feel out of place?

Solo travellers are very welcome. Shared rooms are matched thoughtfully and the rhythm of meals and circles makes it easy to connect without ever feeling pressured to.

What's included in the price?

Three nights' accommodation, all meals (prepared by a private chef on-site), all yoga sessions, workshops, meditation and pranayama, and full use of the gîte - including the sauna, jacuzzi, and gardens. The only thing not included is your transport to Wéris.

How do I get there without a car?

Take a train to Liège or Namur, then continue by taxi (~30-45 min) or a shared ride. Once you've booked, Fanny will help connect you with other guests for carpooling if that's helpful.
